Devoid of hunting or camping skills, all alone, apart from a befriended young wolf cub and a small pocket Bible given to him by his priest, Tommy finds himself lost in the center of one of the largest National forest fires. Wandering over 30 miles in four weeks, he encounters danger at every turn. Solitude of strength, guidance and courage comes by way of the miracle of prayer and discovery of scripture. From the boy's local hamlet, deep in the Sierra Nevada, an awareness, search, and rescue grow nationwide. The young boy is ultimately tested by the true meaning of endurance, faith, and courage while also learning to coexist with nature's wild.
