A cave in caused by an air to ground missile buries him in, killing his friend, Bion. What appears to be a hallucination leads him to an oasis, filled with spiritual beings and mysticism. One of them finds Toby intriguing and gives him a gift that changes his life. Now imbued with immortality, the ability to travel through time, and a depression that send him through the floor, Toby lives to go home. And decides to use those gifts.
