Their elder daughter, twenty-five year old Crystal, is hiding the fact that her boyfriend, Adam, is abusing her. Her only confident is her overweight brother who is binge eating in order to forget he's been bullied all his life. Her mother is having affairs with younger men, in a desperate attempt to recapture her youth, while her father buries himself in work and doesn't see anything that goes on. He is stuck in the past. All that changes when young, mysterious Clare, their new maid, comes to work for them. That's when things take a tragic turn. Exorcising your inner demons might even mean losing your life.
