A Harris poll survey conducted a few years ago found that 84% of Americans believe in miracles. Clearly, we want to experience a miracle, and many pilgrimage to religious sites such as Lourdes or flock to places to strain our imaginations to see an image of the Virgin Mary in a potato chip. But has anyone actually witnessed a miracle? Certainly, we speak in euphemisms such as the 'miracle of birth' or 'all life's a miracle', but has anyone actually seen a real miracle, an event that appears to be contrary to the laws of nature and is regarded as an act of God? They've always happened in the past in the bible, why not today?Fast forward 2000 years to in a small town in northeast Pennsylvania.
