Controlling the process is one of the key objectives in the process industries. It is very important to keep process running safely for optimum results for the particular plant and to reduce the error that is generated due to poor set point tracking of the controller. The inherent dead time present in the process also increases the non-linearity and instability in the system, which makes the job of control engineer much complicated.
